Our beloved classmate and leader, Bill Hayter, passed away
on May 14, 2019. There was no one more enthusiastic than Bill
when it came to planning our many, successful reunions. Bill
loved and anticipated our many meetings over the years. He
could spend the whole meeting catching up on all of us and what
we knew of other classmate friends. He truly cared about each
and every Bruin as we were all special to him.
Bill wanted each
and every reunion to be the best and it to be one in which
everyone would have a great time. He was our committee
leader who would initially "start the ball rolling" and be
the happiest to meet constantly for a year in advance to
finalize plans. Bill is irreplaceable on our committee and
we shall truly miss his leadership and loving friendship
working with us. We will do our best to make our 60th
reunion (to be held in 2021) live up to Bill's
expectations.
We share our
sadness with all of our '61 Bruins... We hope these next

to Bill will help all in remembering his kind and loving
ways...
